Hey everyone, Dylan here. I’m currently fundraising to try to help cover the cost of my father’s cremation. My family is not the most wealthy, and the sudden expense is a bit tough on us.

I know not many people knew him very well due to his more closeted nature, but if they did, they would’ve realized just how brilliant of a person he was. Incredibly smart, and extremely talented in multiple arts. His art was beautiful, his poems touching, and his guitar-playing melodic. It is indeed very upsetting to lose my father, but it’s even more painful to realize the world lost such a talented soul.

I wish more people could’ve seen what I got to see every day growing up as a child and into my teenage years. If I could’ve changed anything about how I was raised, I wouldn’t. The biggest thing I am thankful for is that I made it to adulthood before I lost him, but it’s still quite a heartache.

Any amount anybody is willing to donate is greatly appreciated, but please do not feel obligated. Thank you for your time.

(Update: I increased the goal by $1,000 to include travel expenses. I personally do not expect the donations to get that high, but it would be a very welcome surprise.)
