Kenneth "Crash" Justice Memorial Fund

Kenneth Justice (aka Crash Justice) unexpectedly passed away July 29, 2022. He was a kind, loving, big-hearted guy who worked tirelessly to provide for his family and anyone who was lucky enough to know him. As his son and daughter writing this, our dad often took on the role of a father figure to our friends. He loved seeing and helping people pursue their dreams to the fullest extent by lending an ear and lending a hand. A life-long staple in the Huntington Beach and Long Beach communities, Ken got into surfing in the early '70s and started singing in Punk/Rockabilly bands in the mid-'70s. That passion for the ocean and music never faltered. He was a natural-born storyteller that loved to regale friends with stories of his life's adventures around the dinner table, in the living room with a guitar in his hand, and through his songs, poetry, and creative writing. With his generous, warm, and inclusive spirit, he loved nothing more than bringing people together by hosting parties, serving his world-famous Elvis burgers, and hosting the memorable Rockabilly-By-The-Sea monthly shows at J. King Neptunes. He proudly joined the Merchant Marines for APL in 1990 and deeply loved his work and his union brothers. Ken had the opportunity to travel and see the world by ship as a merchant marine before he made the achievement of being deemed the youngest day-shift foreman for the refrigeration department. He extended his talents and proclivity as a protective, hard-working patriarch at work as well. Ken will always be remembered as being a leader who was willing to fight for what was right and make sure his workers were taken care of. He cared about the people close to him very much. He is so loved and so missed. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Allison, his daughter Katelyn, and his son Rory.
