We are Abbey, Gillian, Maura and Reagan and we are fundraising for our grandparents Kenneth and Carol Urban. Kenneth and Carol met in 1969 and were married in 1970 after he completed basic training in the National Reserve. This week of January 21, 2024, Kenny suffered life-ending heart failure and our family is devastated. Our grandpa was the pillar of our family, he devoted his life to his children, granddaughters and wife, Carol. Kenny devoted 45 years of service to St. Catharine's- St. Anne's Cemetery and Church. Known to all as "everybody's Grandpa", Kenny helped others during their family's toughest moments and memorials, and now we are the ones asking for support. He was a modest, private, and quiet man who was selfless and a calming presence to all. His sense of humor was subtle but was with him until his last moments.

This financial support will be used as contributions for his final wishes, to keep the house she lives in with her children and grandchildren, and to financially support his wife and our grandma, Carol Urban during this unimaginably difficult time as she mourns the loss of her life partner of over 50 years. Our grandma, who is a force of life and light, is as selfless as he was, and always gives rather than receives. But now in this time of need, we ask that anyone who can, to help our family the way that our grandpa helped countless people throughout his 75 years of life.
