Kennel License Need to Save Dogs from Death

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Debbie, Founder of Red Mountain Mutts Rescue, EIN# 86-2424612 (pending)

I've always had a passion for dogs in need, especially the shy and scared dogs that get overlooked. These days, the shelters are full and adoptions are SLOW. Good pets are in danger of being put to sleep every day!! I have been asked by several rescues to take in dogs to buy time for them until a foster or forever home opens up. I can't take in anymore dogs until I build kennels to give them a safe place to decompress in-between the shelter and their forever home.

In the past two weeks, I've been able to help three dogs in danger of being put to sleep. Cooper, a young, smart, active German Shepherd mix was in danger of being put to sleep. He had an advocate willing to help who wasn't available for several days. Cooper just needed a safe place out of the shelter until his advocate was available. The rescue coordinator literally begged me to bring him to my place to save his life. I agreed and now Cooper is in an AMAZING foster home being prepared for his forever home. Next was Comet, a 90 lb. goofy German Shepherd. He was a little older and his family didn't come for him at the shelter. He was with me for one day and then went to his foster home on his way to an amazing life. Thankfully, he didn't die that night. Lastly is Leonard. Leonard was being assessed by a reputable rescue. He was shut down and they felt they couldn't help him. His advocate and the rescue asked me to take in ONE more dog to save his life. How could I say no? Leonard has been here for a week waiting for a suitable foster family or forever home. He has decompressed, loves people and other dogs. He just needed a safe place to land. He wasn't showing well at the shelter and was going to die because of that. These are just THREE dogs . . . there are SO MANY MORE!! In the meantime, I cannot take in anymore dogs until I have safe, suitable housing for them. That's where YOU come in!

I need to raise $5,000 to submit a kennel license application plus another $3,500 for fees. This is before I can build any kennels. I have been given 30 days by the county to apply for the license or face a fee. Your donation will be tax deductible and will enable me to be in the process of helping more dogs! WIN/WIN!

If you believe in my mission and want to help save these dogs from certain death, please give if you can and share my fundraiser with your friends. We need just 340 - $25 donations!! It would mean so much to me and my animal advocate friends. to be able to help these dogs but it means even more for these dogs to live out their lives.
