Kennedy’s lifesaving PU surgery

My worst nightmare came true, and now I am facing the most heartbreaking decision of my life. My beloved Kennedy is currently fighting for his life after suffering a painful urinary blockage. He urgently needs a perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery to survive. Time is of the essence, and his life hangs in the balance.

This is the second emergency hospitalization I've faced in just two weeks. The costs have completely overwhelmed me, maxing out my credit card and leaving me desperate and panicking. I have never been in a position where I needed to raise this kind of money before, and the fear of not being able to save Kennedy is crushing. I’m struggling to find a way through this, but I won’t give up on him.

Kennedy was the very first cat who led me into the world of rescue that quickly became my passion and purpose. He gave me the confidence to take that first step, to believe that I could actually make a difference. Now, after all the hope and love he’s brought into my life, he’s facing the hardest battle of his own. I find myself helpless, watching the cat who changed my life go through something so terrible. If you’ve ever had an animal touch your heart the way Kennedy has touched mine, you know how devastating this is.

Rescue is about saving lives, and now I’m praying with everything I have that Kennedy’s can be saved, too.
