What can I say about Connie Kennedy. She’s a friend to many. She’s a kind soul. The mother of two wonderful children. A very compassionate person. A loving wife. And she’s my best friend.
Connie is that person that when I’m away will check on my cats and while she’s there clean my house so I don’t have to do it when I get home. She’s the person who when I am not feeling well shows up with a plate of food to make sure I have something to eat. She’s the person who leaves Starbucks gift cards in random places just to make someone’s day. She’s so giving of herself to so many people. Now it’s time we give back.
A couple weeks ago Connie received the devastating news that she has breast cancer. She will be facing the toughest battle of her life while she goes through chemo for the next few months and then later this fall a double mastectomy. I am putting together this go fund me to help with any unforeseen cost while Connie and her family fight this battle together.
Please keep Connie, Brent, Finn, and Fallon in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this tough season. We believe in Christ’s healing power and we know Connie will beat this cancer and will continue to be a blessing to us all. As her 6 year old son Finn says, “Kennedy’s Fight!”
