Kennedy's 2K15 Trip to China!

  Ms. Kennedy Harrison is trying go to China with Wesley International Academy! The selection process was extensive but due to her academic achievements and social commitments she was chosen, along with 16 other students, to live abroad in Shanghai, China in May 2015. The China Summer Program was organized for students to study abroad in Nanjing, China at Nanjing University. The goal is to enhance students' Chinese linguistic and cultural acquisition through full language immersion.


Though, Kennedy enjoys the Chinese culture,  this 30 day study abroad program will expose Kennedy to vibrant Chinese culture like the Great Wall of China and Purple Mountain and allow her to practice her growing Chinese language skills in a total immersion program connected with Nanjing University. She will be accompanied by WIA Chinese teachers, students will live in the Nanjing University dormitory for a month with foreign students from around the world and work with Chinese staff members who have extensive experience teaching non-native speakers. 

Kennedy needs as much support to reach her goal of $5,000 to cover all her travel expenses such as living, food, and any other traveling expenses for the 2015 China Summer Programme. We are asking all our family and friends to support her in this amazing opportunity.
