In Loving Memory of Kennedy

Our beautiful baby girl Kennedy sadly passed away just 12 days before her 1st birthday. Her birthday would have been on 26/12/2025, and instead of celebrating her first year of life, we are now trying to give her the peaceful, loving send-off she truly deserves.

Kennedy was born a fighter. At birth she was diagnosed with severe gastroschisis, requiring multiple surgeries, alongside other conditions that were not detected during pregnancy. As her journey continued, we learned she also had five holes in her heart (four closed naturally, leaving an ASD), pulmonary vein stenosis affecting all four veins, pulmonary hypertension, spinal abnormalities, and other complex medical challenges.

From just weeks old, Kennedy spent her life in and out of intensive care, enduring countless procedures, heart catheterisations, stents, ventilators, high-flow oxygen, feeding tubes, and powerful medications. She survived situations where we were repeatedly told to prepare for the worst — yet time and time again, she proved everyone wrong. Kennedy fought with everything she had.

Despite unimaginable pain and hardship, Kennedy was the happiest, smiliest, cheekiest little girl. She lit up every room she was in and knew nothing but love. We never left her side and fought for her at every step, always advocating for her when she needed it most. She showed us what true strength looks like.

This GoFundMe has been created to give Kennedy the beautiful farewell she deserves, including a horse and carriage and funeral costs. Any remaining funds will be donated in her memory to Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, to help other families facing similar battles.
