Tammy Kennedy is a loving mother of 5 children and a yellow lab who devotes her life to her family. As some of you may know Tammy suffered from a stroke earlier this month. She is still in the ICU in Hartford Hospital trying to regain the skills for basic survival. Her right side is completely paralyzed and she has not yet regained her ability to speak or eat on her own. We are hopeful that she will recover but are aware that it is going to be a long road. Tammy will have to undergo weeks of physical and cognitive therapy as well as possible surgery.
We are asking for support from our community to help the family pay medical bills. The hospital is refusing to send Tammy to an acute care facility for rehab without a deposit from the family.
