Our 3-year-old daughter, Kennedi, was diagnosed with a rare disease, Neurofibromatosis #1, and MoyaMoya (shrinking blood vessels in the brain) after suffering a stroke in January of 2025 at 2 years old. She had to have brain surgery, and they fixed the issue at that time but told us this disease would progress and at some point would happen again. Little did we know it’s happening just a short year after all of it happened.

Doctors recently found evidence of another stroke building because of the MoyaMoya again on the other side of her brain. She will have her second brain surgery on May 4th to hopefully resolve the issue again.

We recently had to go to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., because they also found a Glioma tumor on her optic nerve that is causing some vision, balance, and other issues in her brain. Their plan is to shrink it with chemotherapy beginning in July of this year after her brain surgery. She will have to see the doctors in D.C. every three months until further notice, along with chemo treatments. My wife will have to stop working for a second time to stay home and take care of our sweet girl during this time, as she will have to be in isolation for a while during treatments and surgery recovery. We will be down to only one income again until we beat this again.

We are humbly and graciously asking for your help financially to take care of our sweet, spunky, passionate little girl. This will help us to get prepared for surgery, and trips to doctors and treatments for chemo, and trips to/from Washington, D.C., for the foreseeable future. Anything helps, and we are forever grateful for your willingness to help us. We also could use your prayers and thoughts as we have to watch our little warrior fight another fight she shouldn’t be at this age.
