Kenji's Medical Expenses

Kenji is a large, friendly, long-haired Akita. He is only one year old, so he’s basically still a puppy. He is adored by all his family and friends, both dogs and humans alike.

Kenji was born with a genetic hip disease that prevents him from using them properly. Even with this disability, Kenji has enjoyed his life and has been getting around just fine. However, with this problem, he is forced to use his knees to maneuver more than the average dog. This causes a lot more stress on his knees. Up until this point it hasn’t slowed him down, but today during his playtime at doggy daycare, he took a wrong turn and tore his ACL. Because of this, Kenji needs ACL surgery, a hip replacement, and pelvic surgery.  These procedures add up to quite a bit, and if he doesn’t receive them then the Langston’s may lose a precious member of their family.
