The Woods Family of St. Louis, MO is grieving over the senseless shooting death of my nephew, 19 year old Kendrick Isaiah Woods. This is something that we never thought in a million years would happen to this vibrant, friendly, talented young man who had yet to truly begin to live is life.
Because of a gun in the hands of a reckless human being, Kendrick's life was cut short at age 19. Another Black Life ended. Another musician, architect, carpenter, engineer, or whatever he aspired to be was stopped due to a bullet. We have to Stop The Violence and have tighter controls laws.
