Kendra Taylor Covid-19 Survivor
My name is Dayna and I am fundraising for my cousin Kendra Taylor, who is only 35 years old. She is currently in ICU at CRMC with Covid Pneumonia in both lungs. Because she has a one-person household income; this illness is expected to take a big hit on her finances. She is still out on medical leave and the medical expenses are accumulating daily.
Kendra has been a lifelong giver, at a young age she worked for a company called Challengers Inc which assisted individuals with special needs to utilize their talents in the workforce. Because she had a passion to help others, she obtained a master’s degree in social work. She then entered into a position as a Disaster Program Manager for American Red Cross. She managed teams of volunteers during the Gatlinburg Wildfire of 2016 and went to Puerto Rico for over a month to offer relief after Hurricane Maria in 2017. She managed teams in West Virginia after the flooding and helped many families start over after devastating house fires. Kendra has invested countless hours going door to door giving away smoke alarms and educating people on safety. She has also assisted in programs offering aid for the homeless. Kendra is currently the Emergency Planning and Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice of Cumberland County where she provides compassionate care to patients and their families during the last phases of life.
Through your contributions, you can help Kendra relieve the financial burden of these medical expenses while she is recovering. We want to thank everyone for their calls, text, and especially the prayers. It has meant so much to her during this difficult time. Family and friends are so precious to her and she wants everyone to know how much she loves each of you. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to someone who has dedicated her life to helping others!
We cannot say Thank you enough for your willingness to give. God bless you!
*All donations received will go directly to Kendra Taylor for bills and medical expenses.
