In loving memory of Kendra Julien

On December 27th, 2025, Kendra finished visiting with family over the holidays and was returning to her place in Vancouver. Kendra was involved in a tragic car accident and flown to Royal Colombian hospital. With her twin brother, Riley and parents Marc, and Reanna at her side Kendra's bright shining light went out on December 31, 2025.

Kendra was born on February 17th, 2004, in Campbell River, BC, arriving into the world with quiet determination and a spark that would only grow brighter with time. From the very beginning, it was clear she was someone special—kind, driven, and deeply grounded, with a presence that made others feel seen and understood.

Kendra lived with integrity and compassion. She accepted people as they were, never judging, always aware that everyone carries their own struggles. She had a sharp sense of humor, a love for playful banter, and a sarcastic wit that made those close to her laugh easily and often. Graceful yet strong, she set goals for herself and worked tirelessly to achieve them, meeting every challenge with focus and quiet confidence.

An artist at heart, Kendra graduated with honors in 3D Animation from Capilano University and was hired almost immediately by Mainframe Studios in Vancouver—a testament to both her talent and her work ethic. She loved Vancouver, the creative energy it offered, and the community she built through school and work. Those who knew her admired not only her skill, but her humility and warmth.

Kendra loved music—especially heavy metal—and proudly wore concert shirts from bands she adored. She loved animals, adrenaline-fueled adventures like roller coasters and cliff jumping, and time spent with family. She was a devoted daughter, a fiercely loyal friend, and a twin sister whose strength and light left a lasting imprint on her brother, Riley.

Above all, Kendra was a giver. She offered wholehearted hugs, stepped in to help without being asked, and quietly lived her values through kindness and generosity—whether knitting scarves for those in need or simply showing up for the people she loved. She carried her light gently, never seeking attention, never needing to prove herself.

In her final act of generosity, Kendra gave the gift of life to others through organ donation, allowing her light to continue on in the world—offering hope, healing, and possibility. Even now, she reminds us to live fully, love deeply, and move forward with grace.

Kendra was only 21 years old, but her impact is immeasurable. She remains a source of strength, inspiration, and light to all who knew her—and to those whose lives she continues to touch.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to contribute to a future project to memorialize Kendra and continue to let her life shine.
