Update as of 5/17:
Hello friends. It is with heavy hearts and a hope for the future in eternity that we share that mom was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus earlier today. She fought the good fight and heard welcome home good and faithful servant where she entered into a glorified and healed body. We thank you for all of your contributions and donations so far. Before mom passed, she had peace knowing so many had donated their hard earned money to help her out and to know that we would have some funds to help cover future funeral costs. Mom never wanted us to have to go through this alone, and because of the generosity from friends, family, and new Facebook friends, she left this earth knowing we’d be taken care of. Any future contributions are welcome and so appreciated! Thank you all for being the hands and feet of Jesus. You’ve been such a blessing to our entire family. ❤️
When we come together, we’re stronger and better. If you don’t know the Hicks/Randolph/Dilldine/Ware family, they epitomize the meaning of strong, genuine, and kind people. Recently, Kendra Hicks was checked out for some stomach pains, and after many tests, multiple cancerous masses were discovered in her abdomen. Unfortunately, there is nothing more modern medicine can do to treat the cancer. The plan is that Kendra will come home from Vanderbilt on hospice. She recently started a new job, but has been there less than 90 days making her ability to have and use health insurance impossible. Her family, including her daughters Ashley and Macey, are supporting their mom the best way they know how, but there are still financial struggles and bills that must be paid. If you have the ability, please consider donating anything you can to alleviate some of the financial burden from this wonderful family so they can focus on their time with Kendra. If you don’t have the means for financial assistance, we ask for your prayers. Where two or more are gathered, the Lord is present. Thank you and God bless!
