Kendall Brown is a 14 year old performing arts student in Clayton County, GA. She is a Performing Company member where she competes in the art of dance. Through extensive instruction, Kendall has developed exceptional talent in the genres of Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Modern, and Hip-Hop. She has a passion for dance and has expressed her desire to become a professional dancer.

In February 2017, Kendall auditioned for and was selected to attend Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) School Summer Intensives in New York, NY. The program provides a challenging exploration of classical ballet and the allied arts in a diverse and nurturing environment. DTH is a multi-cultural dance institution with an extraordinary legacy of providing opportunities for creative expression and artistic excellence that continues to set standards in the performing arts.

The central focus of Summer Intensives 2017 is the 25th anniversary of Dance Theatre of Harlem's historic tour of the first cultural institution to perform post-aparthied South Africa. Students will learn the history and repertoire from this ground-breaking tour.

Kendall would love nothing more than an opportunity to train at this leading dance institution. The training will help her to cultivate her craft as she continues to strive to reach her full potential as a dancer.

Kendall’s tuition has been paid in full, however, she is still in need of assistance with travel, housing, and uniform expenses. Let's support Kendall's Dance Journey to DTH and help to make her dream become a reality.

Thank you and God bless you!
