“Touring rock band on promising path to great success in need of reliable band van”

This past week we said goodbye to “Le Chariot” who took us on the ride of our lives from 2019-2023. She braved the roads like a mighty steed, persevering through the dreadful wind and rain, getting us to all our gigs safely from Virginia all the way out to NYC, Colorado, California, Texas and beyond. But she was not without her flaws. Just like the rest of us. Over 200K miles with all our gear in tow took its toll on her precious body and we poured tens of thousands of dollars into maintenance and various repairs.

While on the road back from a successful weekend of gigs at The Infamous Weekend at Pop’s Farm and Wormtown festival in Massachusetts, Le Chariot took her final glorious breaths. Her second transmission (only 16 months old) failed, leaving us stranded in Connecticut for 24 hrs. It was a very stressful situation, but also kinda fun? Kind of like an escape room where the team comes together to get out of a hopeless situation. Jest aside, we need a more reliable vehicle.

So now the time has come for us to come to our loyal fans to ask for help in funding a band van to continue our touring ventures. For context, the way the music industry is set up, we completely rely on touring to keep the business afloat. Even though we recently hit 100k streamers per month on Spotify, 0.4 cents per play does not amount to any significant payout. In honor of our new record “Separation95” we are setting our goal at $9595, which will cover a down payment on our next van.

As a token of our gratitude we will send handwritten thank you notes (cursive by request), to all donors. The biggest donor gets to choose the name of the new van. No restrictions unless it’s just completely ridiculous. This will be our third van since we started legitimately touring in 2017 so I was thinking triceratops or something like that. But don’t let me influence ya!
