Kendall’s family has set up a scholarship fund in her memory at Mount Holyoke College. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support for Mount Holyoke students who are interested in African heritage and diaspora religious cultures or have a health and wellness focus in their field of studies.
Kendall was a therapist, healer, and faith leader. She was a licensed clinical social worker educated at the Williston-Northampton School, DePaul and Fordham Universities. Kendall dedicated her life to the mental, emotional, and spiritual healing of all people through western, Native American and African indigenous practices. She had a particular focus on the well-being of young people. Kendall was a creative spirit adept at singing, dancing, and visual arts.
The more we are able to raise, the greater the number of students who can benefit. At this time, in lieu of flowers and gifts to the family please consider making a donation to this fund.
