Hi, my name is Carolyn Fischer and I am raising funds to get Kendall (Kim) “Lefty” Hall cremated so a memorial service can be held. After suffering two strokes, she passed away on February 8, 2024. We are planning to hold a memorial service in Dupont Circle on Saturday March 23, 2024, at 11:00 am. We will spread her ashes in Dupont Circle and also in Georgetown near the aqueduct. Anybody who wants to attend is more than welcome. NOTICE: Due to the slowness of both the hospital and the medical examiner’s office, we may have to delay her memorial until April. I will keep everyone posted.

Lefty has no living relatives, which has complicated this process, but we have made a lot of headway and the plan is to have her cremated by Capitol Mortuary of Washington, D.C. We are nearing our goal to raise enough money for her cremation and memorial service. In addition, we are cleaning out her apartment and donating what we can to local charities.
