Ken Bauer Fights Leukemia

Donation protected
Kenny was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in August 2015. Acute Myeloid Leukemia also known as AML is a very rare aggressive form with fewer than 200,000 cases per year diagnosed.

Since his diagnosis,  he was transferred to UC Davis where he has endured 3 rounds of aggressive high dose chemotherapy, with no signs of improvement in his blood work. Since all FDA approved methods have been exhausted Kenny was accepted into a trial chemotherapy treatment with even higher doses of chemotherapy and experimental drugs. He just finished the experimental treatment last week and we are waiting on the results and hopeful for a miracle.

As if fighting for his life wasn't enough to cope and deal with, we found out last week that his house had been robbed and all of his belongings and vehicle were taken. Nothing to date has been recovered.

This page has been set up by Kenny's family to help pay for the medical costs associated with his experimental trials, as well as to help purchase replacement belongings for when Kenny is able to return home.

We are grateful and thankful for all of the love and support that we have been given by our family, friends and friends of Kenny and Jane. Your love and support is what is helping him to have the courage and strength to fight every day and beat Leukemia!
