Most of you know my mom Jennifer Sparks, she is and has been well known in the community for some time. She's a single mother, and the librarian for Taft Elementary, as well as the former musical instructor for Taft 7-12. Over these past 2 months she has had more than a rough go of things after her emotional support dog Kenai was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Kenai is only 5 years old, and is one of the happiest most friendly dogs anyone will ever meet. He leaves a lasting impression in everyone he comes into contact with; weather it be the size of him, his personality, or his heart, everyone always seems to have a smile on their face after spending time with him. We have already had his right leg amputated to prevent the spread of cancer for now, but of course next comes chemotherapy, and unfortunately it doesn't come cheap. Now my mom is one of the most generous people you will meet, and she'd give you the shirt off your back if you needed it, but she always struggles asking for help when it comes down to it, so I'm asking in her place. Even a dollar would be a massive help in our journey to have Kenai be healthy and cancer free. And in helping Kenai, you're helping my mother, and my entire family.
