I thought MS was a “prison sentence for life”. So why are others being released from this illness?

Summer of 2019, I started looking into a ‘new’ and promising procedure for MS.
It’s called HSCT (Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant) and is actually the chemotherapy procedure given to people with leukemia.
Long story short, back in the 1990s it was discovered that HSCT not only worked for leukemia, it put MS in remission too.
HSCT is being trialed as therapy for MS in many countries. It won’t be an approved procedure for MS until trials are complete.
Some countries have already accepted HSCT as a viable option for MS and offer it to their own citizens. The most affordable location for me, to have this procedure done is Puebla, Mexico. I have an appointment scheduled for August 3rd, 2020.
Remember, MS is a progressive disease, so it gets worse over time; especially my type of MS – PPMS.
PPMS causes the function of the brain and central nervous system (CNS) to consistently worsen, without episodes of remission and relapse. However, some people with PPMS experience temporary plateaus and sometimes minor reductions in symptoms. One of the identifiers of PPMS, the levels of disability are increasing and symptoms are getting worse.
Unfortunately, time leads to disability.

It’s not easy for an ordinary everyday person to whip up $70,000. However, we all know miracles happen every day. I personally know people who are benefitting from this “special” miracle.
They didn’t have the funds for HSCT under their mattress, or in a “tin coffee can”, or in their bank accounts. Yet, people not only believed in them, but believed that miracles still happens.
They no longer need to use a walker every day. They can walk unassisted these days; which has happened since having HSCT.
Nobody should have to live with MS, especially if there is a solution.
Once again, I have an August 3rd, 2020 appointment at Clinica Ruiz in Puebla, Mexico. Clinica Ruiz is the largest patient volume autoimmune disease HSCT private treatment center in the world. Doctor Ruiz Argüelles and Doctor Gómez-Almaguer have performed more than 2500 HSCT procedures during more than 20 years for hematological and autoimmune diseases, out of which over 600 have been for MS.
