First of all, we would like to send our sincerest thank you out to all of our prayer warriors. Without your support and the power of prayer we wouldn't even be this far in the healing process.  As many of you know Ken has been in the hospital since September 30th due to complications with his lung and liver disease. While in the hospital we were told by the doctors the only way to get back home and have a good quality of life is to undergo a lung and liver transplant. After three weeks of vigorous testing, lots of hard work from Ken, and countless prayers from all of you being answered he is being placed on the transplant list!  Although this was the ultimate goal and ultimate answered prayer, we are now faced with a secondary obstacle. The transplant specialist informed us we will need to come up with $10,000 for after transplant expenses. This money is needed for housing within an hour of Henry Ford Hospital for at least 3-6 months, medication co-pays and deductibles, and personal nursing care. He will need 24/7 nursing care after the transplant. We know this is a big ask but we also have all the faith in the world. We've watched God move mountains to make this transplant happen. Ken is being given a second chance at life and we are grabbing it and running with it!! We just need your help. Even the smallest of donations will be a stepping stone to get us to our end goal where we need to be. And even more than that, we need your continued prayers. We know this journey is far from over and that this is only the beginning. Ken's support system and faith in God is what will carry him through.  Ken's transplant will give him his life back. It will give him playdates with his grandchildren. Days out at the field flying his beloved planes. Family dinners, birthday parties, and holiday celebrations. We aren't ready to give up these moments so we need your help to get him home to us again!
