Money raised is going into an account to pay bills for Ken's girlfriend, Kim and their dog, Cooper.

Any extra money will be put into a medical account for Ken's special needs niece, Sammie-Grace, who has 1p36 Deletion Syndrome.

Ken was an amazing man who traveled the world, loved skateboarding, music, and most of all his friends. He did more in his 35 years on earth, than most do in 90.

On the week of February 17th, Ken was not feeling well. What he didn't know was that he had bronchitis. The mix of bronchitis and asthma caused Ken to have a severe asthma attack. He was feeling better after the asthma attack, so he thought the worse was over. Unfortunately on Friday, February 21st, he was feeling way worse than before. His girlfriend convinced him to at least go to urgent care.

Ken was in no shape to drive, so they ordered an Uber. While on the way to Urgent Care, Ken went into cardiac arrest. The Uber driver was able to think fast.  He gave Ken CPR to bring him back. Ken was in a medically induced coma while the hospital did tests and his family gave him some time to show improvements. In the end, Ken had lost too much oxygen to the brain.

That Uber driver gave friends and family a chance to say goodbye to Ken, but he was gone the moment he went into cardiac arrest. He felt no pain and was surrounded by friends and family during his time in the hospital. Ken was an organ donor, so he was able to save others' lives when he went.

Ken and his wonderful girlfriend, Kim, had rented a house together and adopted an adorable little pup named Cooper. Ken's brothers' are now raising money to pay Ken's bills until the lease is up this fall. He chose to settle down with Kim, so we are going to do right by her.

Grieving is hard enough and we want to take the stress of bills off her plate. This will give her until fall to just be saving up so that she can have her new start this fall with no money struggles.

In the event that we raise more than our goal, the extra money will go into a medical account for Ken's niece, Sammie-Grace, who has 1p36 Deletion Syndrome. She is 5 years old, is low functioning, requires nursing, a trach, and a wheelchair. She spends a lot of time in the hospital, has a lot of equipment, and gets a lot of therapies.  There is an ongoing medical account to cover anything the insurance does not.

Ken was so full of life and lived his life to the very fullest. He was loved by most who met him and he touched more lives than we will ever know! Thank you for your support in this difficult time.
