This is about my amazing father, Ken — a kind, selfless man who always put others before himself.

Just a few short weeks ago, our world was turned upside down when Dad was diagnosed with cancer. Heartbreakingly, we lost him last night. It was sudden, devastating, and something I’m still struggling to process.

Throughout his life, Dad was the rock of our family. He cared for my mum, supported everyone around him, and would give the shirt off his back to help a friend or stranger. He was the kind of person who never asked for anything but gave everything.

Now, I find myself facing the incredibly difficult task of arranging his funeral — something I’ve never done before. As an only child with a very limited support network, it’s overwhelming both emotionally and financially.

We are receiving a small amount of government support, but it falls far short of covering all the necessary costs. That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for your help.

Even £1 or £2 would mean the world. Every single contribution — big or small — will help give my dad the respectful farewell he deserves.
