Ken Freeman passed away unexpectedly last weekend. During this difficult time, the family really could use a hand with laying him to rest. Anything is helpful and appreciated. Ken was loved by so many, and he loved the LA KINGS and hockey period! Couldn't stop talking about all the great memories he had and his accomplishments. Always told me he had a good life. He got to see two Stanley Cup championships and sure had fun celebrating. He really loved music, playing, singing and concerts, he was so talented. Even though he was tough and didn't back down from...well, ANYTHING. He was so stubborn but he had a heart of gold, he went the extra mile for ANY friend in need. The family can not thank you enough for all the love, support and prayers.
Ken's recent passing has come as a surprise to all of us, family included. He had battled in the past multiple surgeries which included numerous bouts with anesthesia, post-operative medications and treatments, liver and heart disease, as well and many of life's challenges that many of us could never possibly have imagined. Ken passed away peacefully in his sleep and at this time we are at peace that his suffering is over and that Ken can now be at peace as well.
"Be well," as Ken always said.
