Our names are Harold Wax and Jason Caissie, and we are raising money for the family of our dear friend and former colleague Ken Bugley, who passed away Tuesday, November 10th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ken leaves behind his long-time partner and wife, Jamie, and their 3-year-old son, Kenny Jr. Those who knew Ken will remember him as a kind and gentle soul who loved a good prank, supported the Leafs no matter what, was always willing to lend a hand, but most of all, devoted himself to his friends and family. Jamie and Kenny Jr. are devastated by Ken's passing, and 100% of these funds will go directly to Jamie to support them during the near-future.
Ken spent most of his professional life in the security industry, with Universal ATM Services, CB Richard Ellis on the RBC account, Symcor, and most recently, at Securitas Canada. He was also a committed and long-time freemason, respected among his many brothers at the West Gate Lodge No. 734. Ken and Jamie were together for over 20 years, and in 2018, after years of waiting, welcomed Kenny Jr. into their family.
Ken would not like to accept the charity of others. It would go against the genoursity of his spirit and the thought of this campaign would make him uncomfortable. But in the reverse situation, Ken would be the first to chip in and contribute to any one of his friends' families in the same situation. So please think of that time that Ken did something for you (and I'm sure everyone that knew him can think of several), and contribute what you can to benefit his family.
