Ken Abel

Ken has been a staple in the CGCC community for the past 8 years. He was a wonderful Mechanic, machinist, and general handyman who lost the battle to cancer on November 11, 2023.

Ken was diagnosed with Small Cell metastatic Carcinoma in Mid-May. He was hospitalized for 10 days, had several procedures done as well as several chemo appointments. It seemed like Ken was making a great recovery! He started getting his strength back and feeling better than before he was hospitalized! He felt so good, that he returned to work in October. One day, early in November, Ken started feeling ill once again. He expressed his concern that he felt the same as he did when he was first diagnosed with cancer. So, he went to the hospital to get everything checked out and never returned.

We are setting up this GoFundMe for Lynn Abel, Ken's wife. 100% of the proceeds will be going to Lynn, to help alleviate some of the financial burdens such as Medical bills, funeral costs, etc. If you can afford to provide financial support, your contributions are appreciated with loving gratitude.
