With the heaviest of heart, my amazing girl Kema has been diagnosed with bone cancer - osteosarcoma, and will require surgery along with chemotherapy. The hardest thing to do is ask for help but I have been left with a decision to do everything I can to make her comfortable along with saving her life. As many of you know, my pups are the most important thing to me and I will sacrifice everything I have for them.
Just recently on her birthday mid July I noticed her begin to limp. Due to the current events we were not able to see a vet immediately and she had the chance this last week. X-rays came back with the most horrible news a pet owner could receive. Yesterday she was taken to a speciality hospital and saw a wonderful oncologist along with a surgeon for a second opinion. Additional X-rays were taken along with other tests and came back with the bad news.
The cancer is progressively fast and causing Kema very much pain. She will have to have surgery and her leg amputated. Along with surgery she will have chemotherapy 5 times over the next several months in hopes of a secondary tumor to not return. In addition to this the costs are extremely high.
With your help I’m hoping we can get through this. The funds raised will go towards medical costs, chemo and hopefully her medications.
Kema and MoKitty are my everything and I need your help please. My gratitude for your help is unexplainable and I can’t thank you all enough. Thank you for taking the time to read, share our story and donate if you can.
Love Gordo, MoKitty and Kema
