Kem Caldwell's medical fund

Most everyone in the county know Kem and Lara Caldwell be it from church, school, or from your local tax office or beauty salon. Well, just over a week ago Kem started experiencing back pain so severe that he was unable to lie flat. What started with an ER visit quickly turned into multiple tests and Dr's visits and then an emergent surgery last Saturday to remove the abnormal tissue/mass surrounding his spine posing a threat to his mobility. So far the Doctors are still trying to determine the origination and the progression of it all to make a proper diagnosis and Dr Walpart has decided to transfer Kem to Emory tomorrow for further testing.
Regardless, malignant or benign, he will be admitted to a rehab facility at some point and will most likely benefit from radiation at the least to inhibit regrowth of this mass/tissue. Kem has been unable to work and is unsure at this time when he will be well enough to return and the medical bills have already begun.
Through it all, we know our God is bigger than this situation/disease and Kem and Lara's faith and positive outlook has remained strong even without answers. All we can hope for is that no answer means that God is going to provide us with a diagnosis in Kems favor and this will just have been a minor bump on his journey. However, no matter the answer, we have faith that God will make a way and get them through this storm.
Asking for help is not something that comes easy for most, which is why as friends of Lara and Kem we would like to be their voice to reach out for help to bridge them through this tough time that they were blindsided by and in no way prepared for. Whether your contribution be financial, through prayer or acts of service, my prayer is that you will be blessed ten fold in return.
