Kelsie’s CAP therapy in Thailand for TSW

Hi, my name is Kelsie Lorenz and I have been going through topical steroid withdrawal since April 29, 2020. TSW is a pharmaceutical injury caused by using topical steroids. I took my medication exactly as prescribed and sparingly since I was 11 with no alternative treatments from my medical team. I was told I would be able to use this treatment for life. Symptoms of TSW include severe flaring, oedema, severe itching that is non stop and bone deep, insomnia, nerve pain and zingers, non stop (as in I can fill a dust pan every morning) of skin shedding, loss of my menstrual cycle, hair loss, thermoregulating issues, could not wear clothes, could not go in the sun for 1 full year, elephant skin, oozing, skin so thin rubbing against clothing could take a layer off.. and loss of identity. I haven’t been the friend, partner, family member, or mother that I know I am under all of this.

CAP (cold atmospheric plasma) is proving over and over again to be an effective treatment for TSW. I will be heading to Bangkok the second week of July so I can be treated and closely monitored by the team there. Jay has been treating people going through TSW successfully for 16 years. I am completely heartbroken to separate from my family but my quality of life has been too low for too long. I can’t even count the amount of infections I’ve had. This year alone I have had 6 rounds of antibiotics, 2 rounds of fungal and 10+ viral infections. This was the year of pnemonia and abnormal cervical cells—which had to be surgically removed. My immune system has been completely compromised by the western therapies available to me in Canada.

This treatment is a last resort and I have tried everything available in both western and alternative therapies. The list is exhaustive. Dupixent, adbry, and Rinvoq were all deals with the devil which gave me awful side effects.

I am only asking for a fraction of what we think this will cost. I am staying the minimum amount of time but we will have to play it by ear. We will also need a full time nanny for the kids while I’m away.

I am so beyond exhausted but very hopeful.
