Kelsey's House Fire

Hello, I'm Amy & my sweet friend Kelsey is recovering from a MAJOR hip dysplasia reconstruction surgery and on Saturday Dec 17th she had a house fire.

She is barely mobile, relies on a walker during her recovery and unable to return to work for another 5+ months. The chimney appears to be the source of the fire, even after an inspection earlier this year, but there is smoke, fire and water damage to her home. She and her bulldog, Bali, are displaced for the holidays. All while doing her best to heal. Surgeons equate this recovery to open heart surgery; it's serious.

Insurance *should* be reimbursing many of the expenses & repairs. However, with holiday hours they aren't responsive and she is on SDI without a cushion in her bank account to prepay for necessities.

We are here to fill the gaps where we can so Kelsey and Bali can focus on health, rest and healing. She is in STL, MO and I'm in Sacramento, CA and unable to help in person.
