I'm Kelsey Meiler an ICU RN that is going to Nepal on November 16 th on a medical mission trip. I will be organizing and leading lectures, workshops and on the job training for staff and students at a hospital in Chitwan. I will get to provide direct patient care to the people of Nepal. I'm fundraising for the cost of my air fare , my room, food and insurance. I have chosen to volunteer though projects abroad which is an independent organization that does not rely on fundraising or government funding to achieve social goals. They get all their funding and fees paid for by the people who volunteer ( that's me)! The fees go towards the cost of my trip , long-term support for our project , and the international organization and infrastructure needed to make sure the project and social goals around the world are sustainable and successful. I'm also taking time off from work that will not be paid for! I'm asking for people to help support this mission in anyway possible. If I have any money left over I will be donating to the project i'm working on. I'm very excited and honored with this privilege that will make a positive impact on the world .
