Help Kelsey, get the help she desperately needs

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sandra, I am starting this for my daughter Kelsey and her husband Chris. Kelsey is in desperate need of medical help. She was diagnosed with POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) 5 years ago, which was a nightmare on its own, but she has since been dealing with a host of long covid issues. She has been bedridden and homebound for almost two years. As of now, she is diagnosed with the following; Cerebral hypoperfusion with micro clots- Cerebral hypoperfusion is inadequate blood flow to the brain, it is linked to neurocognitive disorders. Endothelial dysfunction-a type of non-obstructive coronary artery disease in which there are no heart artery blockages, but the large blood vessels on the heart's surface constrict instead of dilating. MCAS/Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. This is where the mast cells mistakenly release too many chemical agents, resulting in symptoms that affect the heart, respiratory, and neurologic systems, also causing your body to have anaphylactic reactions over and over again. Cervical Instability- In severe cases like hers, patients are housebound due to their level of dysfunction and symptoms. Scoliosis with Reverse Cervical Lordosis-Occurs when the vertebrae of the cervical spine bend in the wrong direction. Her life over the last couple of years has been beyond difficult. Her issues are severe and dangerous and her health is deteriorating daily. She needs immediate attention. We have spent the last two years searching out specialists and answers and she has continued to get worse and worse. We are at a critical point. There is a research group that she interviewed with, who are willing to take her case and use their resources to find and address her issues. They have seen tremendous results for people in her position and we have hope that they will get Kelsey her life back and a future. Because they are a research group they are not covered by her insurance. She will need $2,500.00 by June 18th to get started and $1,000.00 a month for her medical care. She will need to relocate to Florida, where they are located. Because the research is so involved and individually specific and intensive, they require a commitment of three months minimum. We would like to be able to cover that three months and an additional three or more, not yet knowing what the need will be. They will need lodging and daily expenses food etc. as well as resources to pay for tests and treatments not covered by insurance. Anything we raise will go to Kelsey's care and recovery. Chris is trying to work out being able to work remotely, they do have a home in Alabama that they are trying to sell to get Kelsey treatment. They have additional debt that was incurred during these last few years for treatments, specialists and a safe place for Kelsey. To say they have been through the wringer the last few years is an understatement, I will add more to their story in the updates as we go. Before all of this happened, Kelsey and Chris were always the first ones to offer help to a friend or a stranger. They were the ones to volunteer and take in all the strays. Well, as life would have it, they are now the ones needing help from a friend or stranger. Thank you and know that we are grateful for whatever help you can offer. Donations or sharing, both are valuable and appreciated. .
