My dearest friends, family, and community,

On March 6th, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Specifically, I have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. This is a rare and aggressive form

of breast cancer that spreads rapidly and resists most treatment options, limiting my ability to fight it.

On March 31st, I started Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy and will be undergoing treatment, including surgery and radiation, for the next 8-12 months. Due to many appointments, treatment, and trying to maintain my health and wellness, I have had to reduce my hours at

work. Altogether, this is a trying time. In addition to the severe emotional and physical stress the diagnosis and the treatment has placed on me, I am also now facing economic distress as a

result of the cost of the treatment and of working less. While, I have taken steps to minimize my financial burden, such as moving in with my mom for support while I go through this journey and

putting my belongings into storage, I have unfortunately had to break my lease and am facing penalties.

While I do have health insurance, I am still left with a lot of uncovered medical expenses and other bills to pay.

I am chasing down every possible assistance program and outlet that I can to help cover all of my expenses and daily costs. Unfortunately, even with reduced hours, I don't qualify for a lot of the programs. It is hard for me to ask for help, but I am in need of it. All I ask is if you are able to donate, please do so.
