Palisbo: Kels n Lala’s Memorial & Shay’s Life Fund

On February 26, 2022, Kelsey and her 7-year old daughter Lala were tragically killed in an accident involving a drunk driver while sitting in their parked car. Her 18-year old daughter Shay was injured in the accident, but God-willing, has survived and is recovering. Many would describe Kelsey and Lala as happy, caring, loving people who's smiles & personalities could light up rooms. Losing our two beautiful angels so suddenly is not something anyone could have ever been prepared for. Many of you have asked the family what you can do to help. While your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated and always welcomed, we know how hard financially a loss like this can be. We know there is nothing we can do to alleviate the unimaginable pain, but we are hoping that the kindness and generosity of family and friends can help Shay and her family while they grieve as they prepare to lay Kelsey and Lala to rest, and secure Shay's future.  On behalf of Kelsey, Shay, Lala and the Palisbo Ohana, we humbly come before you to ask for any monetary donations to assist with funeral and hospital expenses, including physical therapy that Shay is currently undergoing, due to a broken hip. She has recently checked into an inpatient rehab facility where she is slowly learning to walk again. Anything left over will go directly to Shay to help her navigate her way through this world as a young adult without her mother and sister by her side.  She will be graduating from high school in a few short months and plans to attend college this fall. Any amount is greatly appreciated as every little bit helps. We started this Gofundme for Kelsey's family in hopes of alleviating the stress of having to figure out finances for the funeral service and Shay's current medical needs while Kelsey's parents and siblings travel from Hilo and out of state to Oahu to be with Shay and try to get all of Kelsey & her girls' affairs in order.
