The Kelowna Sun Devils 13U AAA team earned a hard-fought third-place finish at the 2025 BC Provincial Championships, securing a spot to represent Team BC at the Western Canada Championships, taking place August 15–17 in Chilliwack.

The Sun Devils finished first in their pool, thanks to key wins and strong overall play including stellar pitching by Daniel Ruddock, Nolan Langill, Blake Harris and Mateo Coxford as well as consistent hitting from the top to the bottom of the line up.

The team showed grit and determination throughout the tournament, combining solid pitching, timely hitting, and sharp defense. While they narrowly missed a shot at the gold medal game, the Sun Devils bounced back in the bronze medal match to claim third place overall.

With their podium finish, Kelowna represents BC as the team advancing to the 13U AAA Western Canada Championship, where they’ll face top squads from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of the players, coaches, and supporters, and highlights the strength of COMBA’s High Performance program.
