Kelly, is my sister and she is on the left. She is pictured here with my other sister Sarah. Kelly is 32 years old and has cerebral palsy. She was born with this condition due to complications at birth. She is a beautifully perfect example of happiness and love. She has been such a gift her entire life.
She was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tonuge. This is a type of cancer that affects people who smoke or drink. My sister does not drink or smoke and has never touched it or been around it. The doctors are surprised as this type of cancer in someone so young with no history of smoking or drinking is just not common.
This page was set up to help my parents with her care. My parents have sacrificed their entire lives to care for two mentally disabled children. They both are retired and on a fixed income. They do not know about me even setting this account for them. This will help my parents ease the financial burden during this difficult road our family is about to travel down.
