As many of you know, I have struggled immensely for the past 6 years with chronic pain. My pain started in 2019 after a very bad chiro adjustment which left me with a severe whiplash injury. This injury activated my body to enter fight and flight stage which led to a fibromyalgia and cervicogenic headache diagnosis. With occipital neuralgia symptoms. Headaches so badly at the base of my skull I couldn’t function every single day. Full body pain which have severe flare ups that feel like you have been hit by a semi or your worst flu pain feeling. But in reality, this diagnosis of fibromyalgia has a root cause. Everything does. This complicated and changed my life in the worst way.

Chasing answers, diagnosis, injections, medications, supplements, natural health treatments, etc. nothing helped. I have been on a roller coaster with my family for many years.

Driving to Calgary and Lethbridge nearly weekly for neck adjustments. Finding out I have Eagle’s syndrome which now requires surgery to fix (which I have now been waiting over a year and a half for). Self advocacy consistently, researching, as my body cannot do what it used to do but I still needed more answers. Not accepting my diagnosis’.

I took the integrative courses, spent the money on functional medicine testing and found mold toxicity, Epstein Barr virus. Lyme was negative (we were sure it was Lyme as everything made sense and lined up) Years later we still believe it is Lyme disease causing my symptoms. Self advocacy finding out more everyday, talking to people around the world, I found a doctor in the USA who is a Lyme literate doctor and diagnosed me with lyme. Finding out that neck injuries like mine actually activate the Lyme that may have been dormant in my body. Who knew?..

A relief yes, but what now? Canada unfortunately does not do very much advanced treatment for Lyme. Again speaking with many others around the world they have found Mexico to be the top choice to go for treatments. I will be heading to Mexico for these procedures in the new year and working with my US Lyme literate doctor.

I have to, I have to get back to myself that loves hard work, my family and being able to succeed without feeling the negative health effects. I have hope I can get better now that I am on the right path. Finally!

I will be doing ozone, stem cells, chelation, ivs, supplements and medications. The cost is high but I have to try.

I have set up a go fund me for myself which is WAY out of my comfort zone as I absolutely hate asking anyone for anything but if you could or have the means to donate even $5 I would be so grateful!!

The total cost of 4 days of treatment is $8000.

Lyme is a terrible disease and so many have Lyme that’s potentially an underlying cause of their conditions. Even if you can’t donate please share so someone may test for Lyme or other infections causing their issues.
