Kelly's Marathon

Hello, my name is Derek Dumas, and I am reaching out to seek financial assistance for my girlfriend, Kelly Hedgepeth, who is facing a challenging medical crisis. Currently, she is hospitalized in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at LSU-Shreveport.

On April 25 of this year, Kelly was diagnosed with acute respiratory failure due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). As a result of her condition, she is reliant on a ventilator for breathing support and is undergoing Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) treatment to oxygenate her blood. Furthermore, she has required a tracheostomy to assist with her breathing.
