Kelly's Crew

Hi everyone,

We decided to start a "Go Fund Me" page for our amazing friend, sister, teacher, mom and partner in all things Kelly Gish! Kelly gave us all the scare of a lifetime and was recently diagnosed with "Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma". Cancer is a scary word for anyone to hear but as a mother of five her first thoughts went toward her babies at home and at school and then jumped right into thinking of everything us moms do. Fortunately, the prognosis is good but the road to recovery is long. Kelly has been told that she will be receiving 4 rounds of chemo and radiation. She has been blessed with an amazing team at Portsmouth Naval who took action quickly and aggressively to get her off to a fighting start. She has already received her first round of chemo and came through like a champ. She is exhausted but has remained optimistic through it all. As her friend though, I can see her concern about things to come and hope that this "Go Fund Me" can at least lessen a few of her worries. Kelly has given so much to so many we hope that we can give back to her just a little of what she and her family have given to us.

We will regularly post updates here and keep everyone updated on her journey. We all appreciate everyone's outpouring of love, prayers and kindness from the very first day! We all know that with all of your support, Kelly and her family will be able to make it through and continue making our little corner of the world alot brighter.
