Hi!

I'm Kelly, your favorite queer non-binary librarian.

On Friday, November 22nd, I totaled my car on my way to work. I hit something in the road (pothole? Rock? Who knows), lost control of my car, hit the guardrail on the driver's side, then bounced to the guardrail on the passenger side.

Don't worry, I'm fine! And no one hit me even though it was morning traffic on the Parkway in NJ.

Anyway, long story long, I got the car to my mechanic. He says that I cracked my tire rims and have rear suspension damage. FUN. It would be at least 3k to fix that...and my car was worth about 1500. (It was my grandmother's old car, a 2007 Ford Five Hundred.)

Oh, and I just moved last week too.

So, I need a car. And money for my Uber/Lyft rides to and from my apartment to work: it's about $50 + tip one way, until I get a car.

Here's where you come in! Anything would be appreciated. Help your friend! Help a librarian! Help a queer non-binary person!
