Help Bring KellyAnne Home

My name is KellyAnne.  I am a mom, a wife and a teacher.  I love each of those aspects of me more than even I could imagine.  About nine years ago I noticed that my muscles, particularly my legs felt stiff.  I was still able to move about with some normalcy but there was a definite issue happening with my muscles.  Over the last few years things progressed and I started falling...a lot.  At first I was able to get up on my own.  Then I wasn't.  I went from walking on my own to using a cane, then a walker and now I am confined to a wheelchair.  

In October 2015 I had an appointment at the hospital but when I woke up that morning I was not able to walk.  My legs would no longer bend.  An ambulance was called and I have been in the hospital since.  What do we know?  I am an extremely rare neurlogical muscle disease.  It has robbed me of my ability to walk.  It has also affected other muscles as I cannot lift my arms beyond shoulder height.  

We are now at a crossroads.  In order for me to return home to my beautiful little family we must make changes to our home.  After purchasing the medical equipment needed to return home there is nothing left for these essential renovations.  We need help.  All money raised will go to home renovations and nursing care that I will need when I return home.  Being away from my life and family is unbearable.  While we are extremely grateful for the care the hospital has provided it is time to go home where I belong.  I can't  thank you enough for the help you provide us in getting me home.
