Hi guys,
As some of you may know and some may not, Kelly has been battling with
STAGE 4 METASTATIC BREAST CANCER
for just over four months. Metastatic means it has travelled to another part of the body, and in Kelly's case, her liver.
However, with Kelly’s strength and determination, she has had an amazing response to the treatment, which she explained was quite rare. At this stage, Kelly’s liver appears to be clear.
Even though her treatment appears to be working, Kelly still has one more week of chemotherapy to go. After that, she will hopefully have surgery in about six weeks, followed by recovery. After all this, Kelly may still need to travel regularly, four hours from her home to receive radiation treatments.
You may know Kelly from her workplace where she has spent the past 12 years nurturing many sick and elderly residents in the last years and days of their lives, giving them much time, care, affection and love. After work kelly goes home to her three wonderful children who she adores so dearly, doing just the same for them no matter how exhausted she was from spending eight hours of her day already doing it all for someone else’s loved ones.
Kelly is always giving and now it’s our time to give back to her. Kelly has never been the type to hold her hand out for anything that she never worked hard for and was quite astounded when a few people close to her even suggested a go fund me page. But after the past 4 months, exhausting most of her finances and trying so tirelessly to do it all herself, she is now willing to accept a small amount of help.
I know times are crazy tough at the moment, with the cost of living going through the roof, but if there was just one extra good deed you could do, could I please ask you to donate to this go fund me for Kelly, even if it is just $10. Every cent counts but if you're unable to donate, I just ask that you please share this page.
I know Kelly, her family, and her friends would be ever so grateful and appreciative.
