Kelly is an only child to her single mum Sandra. She is a kind, hard working, conscientious girl who attended Matobo Primary School in Zimbabwe, where she excelled. Kelly was then fortunate enough to have a sponsor who put her through a private Zimbabwean high school to do her Cambridge AS and A levels. Kelly got two A’s a B and a C.

After school Kellys passion was caring for people. She decided she wanted to do nursing. She did a nurse aid course and a three month practical in a hospital in Bulawayo.

University was still Kelly’s dream although financially it was not possible. It has been a long process, where in the meantime Kelly was pleased to get a teaching assistant position at a Montessori school called Absorbent Minds in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. In the afternoons Kelly continued with her caring passion and looked after an elderly dementia patient. She has been amazing, so hands on and loving. Understanding of dementia and how to navigate the many situations.

Kelly has finally got two university acceptances at UITM and Vincent Pol in Poland, to start in October

Now … to get her there. Kelly needs to raise a total of 12,600 for her 3 year degree in nursing. Even if she can get through one year at a time, this will be Kelly’s dream come true!
