On Saturday, December 8th 2018, my sister Lisa lost her husband, Kelly, suddenly due to a stroke. She performed CPR while the ambulance was on its way but to no avail. He was only 61 years old. Last August, Lisa and Kelly celebrated their 29th anniversary. Left behind are Rachael, Micah, and Caleb—the children, and two grandchildren.
Lisa lives in Michigan and I, Marla live in California. All funds donated will be given to Lisa so that she can repay the loan that was used for Kelly’s funeral. This GoFundMe was setup by me, her sister so that I can raise funds to help her pay for Kelly’s funeral. As funds are withdrawn they will go directly to Lisa. As stated in my last update. Kelly’s funeral expense totaled $8,000.
Kelly suffered an aneurysm in 2013, leaving the family struggling with mounting medical bills and him with amnesia and other health problems. The family needs help to cover funeral costs. She and the family have been strong throughout the last five years—Lisa has been a rock. They continuously worked through the rollercoaster of memory loss, trauma, accidents, and now Kelly’s passing. Any financial help would be a blessing, as well as prayers.
