Kelly Mckenzie Medical and living expenses

Hi, My name is Breanna Nichols. I am a lifelong friend of Kelly's and with her permission have put together this gofundme to help her through this season of life.

Those who know Kelly, know she is a helper and a giver at all costs. Kelly will always do whatever it takes to help anyone she knows in need. Now is the time for her community to come together and support her.

The last couple years have been tough for Kelly and her family, both physically and financially she has worked tirelessly to ensure that her two beautiful children have consistency and all their needs met, but they need our help.

Earlier this week Kelly brought herself to urgent care unable to breathe well with major inflammation to her tonsils. After intensive steroid treatment she was out of the woods, this time, but was told again that she needs to have her tonsils removed ASAP.

The way her DRs put it is that her tonsils are inflamed consistently and her body is fighting the infection. In the mean time her body is exhausted and flaring other underlying illnesses such as Lyme's disease. She is in a place of dire need to have her tonsils removed. Not only does this require surgery, but also a recovery period where Kelly will need 24/7 care to help her and her kids as she is a single parent.

Kelly's husband Brian has been in treatment and remains in treatment through the last year and a half. Not only does Kelly work hard to support her two kiddos she also has been working to continually mentally and financially support her husband, Brian. Kelly has and continues to advocate for and support their families healing and wellbeing.

My hope is we can raise enough to support Kelly's medical expenses through surgery, which will range anywhere from 5k-9k. However as we all know on top of that are living expenses and even just basic needs to support herself and her kiddos. Kelly's goal is to maintain basic needs security for her family as she goes through these medical challenges.

Please help how you can. If you are unable to help monetarily we are looking for someone to put together a meal train as well as help with organizing daily care while Kelly is recovering from her surgery.
