With the greatest of sadness, I am setting up this go fund me account.

Julie Beth Gauer, my daughter, passed away suddenly earlier this month. Julie had been fighting a long battle with the medical field trying to diagnose the constant and extreme pain she was in. Finally, just after Christmas she was diagnosed with rectal cancer and her treatment plan was in place. Julie was feeling relieved and very ready to start her treatment. Unfortunately, she never got the chance to start.

Julie will always be remembered for her spirit and her feisty zest for life. She leaves behind many friends and family who will her miss her so deeply.

Those who will miss her most are Brad and Kelly. Julie was engaged to Brad Becker, who she loved and adored. Brad's presence in Julie's life made her feel secure and safe, for this I am and always will be eternally grateful to him.

As many of you know Julie has left behind her and Brad's, 8-year-old son, Kelly. Julie loved Kelly with a passion that amazed all of us. In her final days she talked about how she had a fight ahead of her that she was going to battle through for Kelly. He was her motivation to get better.

Kelly is an amazing "old soul", the conversations that you can have with him are so enjoyable and full of information. He is smart, witty, fun and so in tune with people in his life. He will miss his mother so much as you can imagine.

I would like Kelly to have opportunities in his life and not miss any because his mother is no longer with him physically. I know many of you would like to help me with this quest and can do so through this platform. The money raised would be used in the future for his education and well-being.
