Hey All!

My name is Darren Bishop for those who do not know me and I am an ex teammate and a long time friend of Kelly Hoffer.

As most are aware our good friend and teammate Kelly Hoffer experienced a very extreme brain aneurysm a few weeks back.

With a brain aneurysm the severity of impairment is so hard to determine. As the recovery process proceeds we are understanding that Kelly's level of mental and physical impairment is very substantial and his recovery is not only going to take a lot of time but it is also undeclared the level of permanent impairment.

This tragedy has impacted the Hoffer family both emotionally and financially. Shauna is bed side to kelly every day in Saskatoon hospital so she is not able to work and will likely be committed to caring for Kelly long term until his condition improves.

We all know how stubborn and proud Kelly is and he would not agree to doing a small raise as well as Shauna was not in agreement but I convinced her that everyone just wants to give support and that this is one way people can show support.

If you are able to throw a couple bucks at the pot that is great but do not feel obligated.
