For those of you reading this I would like to thank in you advance for doing so. My mother Kelly Ann Powell (Whitehead/Corcoran) was born on February 7, 1968 in Long Island, New York to Susan Eileen Corcorcan & Walter John Corcorcan. The family migrated west after the arrival of her brother in 1971. They came to the Golden state of California where they would become Bay Area locals residing in Contra Costa & Solano County. With her work she traveled to many other locations as a Kaiser Pharmacy Technician. Even after early retirement she wanted to rejoin the workforce part time because she loved the job and the people that she helped along the way. She was always lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it regardless of the situation. Her heart was as pure an angel's and her values live on in the beautiful family that she created. She was sadly diagnosed with cancer in October of 2022. She was a fierce, strong and independent woman willing to stand her ground regardless of any & all challenges. However her last one resorted with her earning her wings and rejoining the Lord on January 28th, 2024 at 4:20pm. She leaves behind her husband Joey, her mother, myself along with my wife Kayla, my siblings, Alicia and Matthew, as well as her beautiful grandchildren plus the many friends she's made in the brief 55 years that she had blessed this earth with. It's now at this time that we started the gofundme to assist with her funeral arrangements with a celebration of life and for the medical bills that have occurred prior to her departure. Her celebration of life is to be announced soon. We appreciate any positive thoughts, vibes and prayers as for this is a difficult time in our lives. Thank you sincerely.
